cut it out

Crazy

*bad photo disclaimer- look close and notice that the round window is cut out

cut it out

this is my layout, "world of crazy" which basically sums up my little family.

  • cut out a window, just for fun from a layout.
  • here, i cut a round window the size of the pattern in the overlay
  • i machine stitched the overlay over the "hole"
  • try using rub ons on the BACK of the transperency so the appear to be looking through the window
  • cut off some of the scallops from the edge of the paper for an interesting look - be sure to save the lopped off scallops for another project

don't forget to "enter" for another chance at a fun NSD prize!

Love this idea. It's totally how I feel about my life (and I love it)

Great window idea. I will have to do that on a layout. Great use of Hambly as usual.

I love your window with the stiching around it--great job!

Anna: your projects have a certain "look" that make your work so distinctive and fun. Thanks again for sharing with us.

i love the blue & the magenta together!

I like how you cut off one side of the scalloped paper. That certainly maximizes the use of premium papers!

I have a transparency that will work perfectly. In fact I didn't know if I was supposed to cut it or not! Thanks for showing me.

I love the scalloped cut cardstock. And the window is awesome. Love the LO. Wish I can sew though.

Super cute! I would have never thought of that!

Love the idea of a window!!!

awesome window idea! I'm going to have to try it soon!

You are one talented lady! :)

i'll have to try and cut it out, i don't know about sewing...not crafty that way..but i'll see

Very cute! I love the color combo on this one! :D

Great title! I think I'm also living in the "World of Crazy".

I do like your idea of using the rub ons on the back of the tranperency. I like seeing the machine stitching but haven't tried it since I do not have a sewing machine. I have hand-stiched before but it doesn't look as nice.

I thought the title was cut out at first too! Neat idea!

i really love the idea of the window! i'm going to try it out one of theses days! thanks for the inpiration ana :)

I like the look of the transparency with the rub-ons put onto the back. Great technique!
